He grew up in Nigeria and learned welding as a teenager; that skill paid for his university degree. As a student he served as National President of the Federation of Ideato Students (FISA) from 2017 to 2019 and built small businesses in motorcycle hire-purchase, POS services and real estate.
After more than 3,000 applications and six university admissions lost to proof of funds, he used the skill he already had: a direct email to a hiring manager led to a welding job in Finland. He lost that job before arriving, started again with delivery work, and built his own transport and logistics company, teaching himself AI and automation along the way.
